- First stop in Pompeii with about two hours of free time to explore the ruins
- Second stop on Mt. Vesuvius: the driver will leave you near the beginning of the trail up to the crater, which you can climb with an alpine guide (30-40 minutes)
- Optional stop at a restaurant on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius or at a gelateria for a snack
- Final stop at the ruins of Herculaneum with two hours of free time to visit
- This tour is private and can be modified, for example with a longer stop at Pompeii and skipping Herculaneum entirely

This tour is private and can be modified, for example with a longer stop at Pompeii and skipping Herculaneum entirely. The driver can advise you based on your travel style and pace.
There are English-speaking guides available to hire in Pompeii and Herculaneum at a rate of EUR 120/2 hour tour of each ruins. The guide walks around with the clients throughout the ruins during the tour and explains all of the secrets of the area. Please advise us whether you are interested in hiring a personal guide in Pompeii or Herculaneum, as we would be very happy to make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
