Amazing hotel!

This is a gorgeous hotel and was my favorite among the 3 hotels we stayed at during our trip to the amalfi coast. The rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated. The rooftop bar and pool area is stunning. We spent every afternoon at the pool just relaxing. The breakfast was amazing with everything you could want including a made to order station. The staff was incredibly helpful. They were able to get us dinner reservations on the day we arrived and the other nights as well (be sure to check out their sister restaurant. It was delicious). We had ordered a car to take us to the airport and the front desk called to let us know that a landslide had taken out one of the main roads to the airport. They cancelled our car, helped us find a ferry to get us to Naples and put us on a golf cart to get us to the ferry terminal on time. They were amazing. If we are ever in Sorrento again, I’ll definitely stay here!!

Great hotel, very traditional and authentic. Was upgraded to a lovely corner sea view room. Amazing breakfast but service in the morning could maybe do with some improvements

We loved our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. This was our first stop in our 2 week stay in Italy, and it was a perfect hotel to start our adventure. The style of the hotel/rooms stayed true to the region and did not give into modern design. We loved it.

the yellow couch in the room was infested with ants and as a result, my backpack suffered. the location of the hotel was convenient but i'd stay elsewhere next time. i waited to place this review to see if they would offer any resolution of our concerns with the infestation and nothing came forward.

Grand Hotel La Favorita is located in the heart of Sorrento, in the area of town where the narrow roads of the historic center open out on to magnificent panoramic terraces, built directly above the sea. From here, the view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius is quite breathtaking.

The Villa Comunale, the Cloisters of San Francesco, the beaches of Marina Grande: all these are situated just a few meters away from the hotel.

Sorrento is the principal town on the Sorrentine peninsula and is well served by both public and private forms of transport. Nerano, Massa Lubrense, the Amalfi Coast, and the Punta Campanella Marine Reserve are all within easy reach of the hotel. Herculaneum, Pompei and Naples are approximately an hour's drive away.
