The room was very disgusting. The bathroom was full of mold and we did not end up staying there.

It was hard to locate VHome. We got help from the reception of a nearby hotel. Next is very difficult to find a place to park. We rented a vacancy from VHome itself. The room is good and the location is great. It is close to the main point of Sorrento. Breakfast was not good and was served in a very tight place.

Apartment was hard to find. When we did get in we struggled to find the right floor, walking up a few flights of stairs. We eventually found it. There was an envelope on the desk with our name on. In it was our room key and room number. Now to find our room. We had no idea. We opened several doors and eventually found our room. Definitely needs better signage. Room was clean. Hairdryer, Kettle, Iron and mini fridge. Towels were changed every day and bins emptied. Shower wasn’t great. Looked fancy with jets but they didn’t work and had gone rusty in parts. Needs ripping out and just a normal shower that works properly putting in. We did have a balcony but view was just the other apartments. Breakfast wasn’t great. On the last day there wasn’t even any eggs. Ham was sliced out of a tin. Hot dogs. Chopped chunks of cheese. Sliced cheese in a wrapper. Chopped up tomatoes. Bread rolls, croissants, yogurts, fruit. Coffee machine. This is definitely not 4 star. It suited us as we were out all day every day. You get what you pay for. Our room was next to the breakfast room so woken early when they were setting up. Location is great. Near the train station and 5 minutes from the centre. There is a very small lift. City tax to be paid in cash at the end of the stay €4 per person per night.

Taxi driver couldn't locate it. It's in a dingy apartment block with no signage and ancient lift fofc2 people. Rooms are OK but no lighting in apparently wonderful jacuzzi shower which doesn't work. Don't bother. We vacated and paid for another hotel

VHome is just five minutes from the Circumvesuviana station in Sorrento, where trains to Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius depart. Buses also depart from here headed to the main destinations along the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello). The port is just ten minutes away, for ferries to Capri, Ischia, and Naples.
