We stayed here for our first ever time in Italy and it was great! Nunzia's cappuccinos were the BEST and she made us feel at home and immediately recognized we were both Italian/American which was cool. The room was always very clean and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The town square is literally a 2 minute walk from there, so if you're booking tours and stuff, that is usually the meeting place which is super convenient. Can't wait to stay here again :)

This was our first time to Sorrentino and accommodation arranged through AAA. This is definitely not a hotel and is a youth hostel at best. It has no elevator service so if you have heavy luggage like we did you have to lug them up the stairs and the guy at the desk did not even offer to help. Room was clean but tiny and although was supposedly made to accommodate 4 adults there was only a double bed and 2 thin coats as the extra bedding and no additional room for 4 suitcases. Customer service was terrible. Asked for an extra luggage rack and was told no. Was only informed once in room that towels would be changed free of charge every 3 days and if sooner was 10euros per person per day. When asked about excursions I was told to google it. Was also told that since prepaid was not refundable. Ate cost and left and paid a little more to get 2 rooms at the hotel plaza. Would never recommend this place and photos are misleading. If you are a youth traveler looking for cheap accommodation this is your place otherwise forget it.

Great location in the centre of Sorrento, easy to get to the markets and restaurants. Clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The market below causes some noise, but the windows are double glased and dampen the noise. If it wasn't on the other side of the world, I would stay here regularly for work. Did I mention the staff were awesome.

Excellent location, Lovely room, very clean, very friendly staff…. But, if you happen to have a room next to the breakfast area then forget having a quiet morning. The breakfast room is a communal one large table experience and you cannot help yourself to anything. Confusion as to what you actually want for breakfast results in a somewhat Fawlty Towers experience. Some people will be offered Orange juice… some will not. If you want Toast, it has to come as a cheese and ham toasted sandwich… just simple toast is not an option. If you don’t want eggs of any sort then you are frowned upon. There are croissants… but they must be served hot with cream and covered in icing sugar. No tea making facilities in the room but you can use the communal kettle. No milk though. They could do with investing in some soundproofing. That is the one moan though. The staff cannot do enough for you and as I said earlier the place is spotless and super clean. I just don’t want to be woken up at 6am by the clattering chairs etc… especially when the earliest you can have breakfast is 8am

Casa Sorrentina is right in the heart of Sorrento on Corso Italia just 30 meters from Piazza Tasso, the city's main square. The entire center can be explored from here by foot, and the beaches, the port where ferries for Capri depart, and the Circumvesuviana train station with routes to Naples, Pompeii, and Herculaneum are all just minutes away.
