The answer is Corso Italia Suites, a collection of around 18 independent mini apartments spread across three addresses on central Corso Italia in Sorrento.

Welcome home

Corso Italia Suites apartments are housed in three different early 20th-century historic buildings, varying in size from studios to two-bedroom apartments, accommodating between 2 and 6 guests. Types include Studio, 1-bedroom Apartment and 2-bedroom Apartment.

All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, flat-screen satellite TV, in-room safe, air conditioning and free WiFi. All bathrooms have a shower; larger apartments have two bathrooms. Some apartments have a balcony overlooking Corso Italia. Daily housekeeping is included in the stay.

Practical note: not all buildings have an elevator. Guests travelling with heavy luggage are advised to specify this when booking. Late check-in incurs a surcharge.

The location was great. It was not good that the elevator did not work and we had to carry our 40lb suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. The room as spacious enough, no view. There was some odd humming noise coming from the ceiling in the bathroom that woke me a few times. There were also rodents in the walls 3/4 nights. Again it is a perfect location.

Great location, right in the heart of the square and restaurants. Very clean, and responsive to any questions or queries. Lift wasn’t operational at the time, though it was being installed. Beach towels are not available, so remember to bring your own.

Very well located. The renovated apartments are large and comfortable. We were a group of 8 and had 4 apartments. The airconditioning in one apartment was not working and when reported was fixed immediately in late evening. There is no reception or services and someone will come and check you in when you arrive. There are about 18 apartments in total and daily housekeeping is provided. A lift is being installed and no more cwrrying luggage to the higher floors. Would recommended.

just back from New Year’s Eve in Sorrento and I stayed in one of the apartments of “corso italia suite”, so: excellent and professional welcome, central location, top cleanliness and top comfort. The apartment had two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms and a living room with sofa bed, kitchenette and balcony on the main street. I am really very satisfied and deserves an excellent review.
