A True Gem in the Purest Sense of the Word

We came across Cubo Apartments through a simple Google search for where to stay in Sorrento, Italy. Our search led us to nearby Vico Equense, only about 15 minutes from Sorrento by train, with the train station conveniently located near the apartments. We wanted something family friendly and clean, with people who were friendly and professional. What we found was a true gem in the purest sense of the word. We spent nearly two weeks there in August 2026 in the Africa Deluxe apartment, which featured an unparalleled view of the Bay of Naples from both the kitchen and master bedroom. While views vary depending on the apartment, ours was simply breathtaking. The two bedroom apartment was extremely clean, with a fully functioning kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and drying rack. The building also has an elevator. If you rent a car, Cubo has an arrangement with a garage directly across the street for €15 per day, paid separately. What truly makes Cubo special, however, is the family who owns and operates it. At the heart of it all is Anna, the mom, whose extraordinary dedication, warmth and genuine desire to make your stay special are evident throughout the entire experience. She truly puts her heart and soul into making her guests feel at home. Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning, with Anna making amazing homemade cakes, croissants and omelets, along with apricot jam made from fruit grown in their own garden. Angela is equally warm and caring, always making sure you are well taken care of, and her memorable cappuccinos will definitely ensure you wake up! Alfonso brings a warm and easygoing presence, while Federico handles reservations and check in with a friendly professionalism that immediately makes you feel welcome. We also highly recommend the pizza making class with Alessandra, whose passion for her craft is clearly evident. The class takes place in the family garden, where you pick fresh vegetables and learn how to make and properly roll authentic pizza dough from scratch. It is a truly authentic experience and absolutely worth doing. We briefly met Rosa, another of Anna and Alfonso’s daughters. Although she isn’t involved in the family business, it was evident that she shares the same warm and caring personality. From the moment we arrived, we were treated not simply as guests, but as family. What impressed us most was seeing a family put so much of themselves into their business while never losing the warmth, sincerity and personal attention that make Cubo so special. You can truly feel the pride and heart behind everything they do. By the time we left, we felt as though we were saying goodbye to true friends, and perhaps even family, rather than simply checking out of an apartment. We give Cubo a full 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return next year. In short, we don’t just recommend Cubo. We recommend it in the highest possible terms.

This was the perfect place for my daughter & I to relax and recover. We spent 5 wonderful days in an absolutely beautiful apartment that had an amazing view. Everyone was so warm and welcoming! Breakfast was a highlight every morning! Not only the food but the conversation also! I cried having to say goodbye. Vico is a very special place and the people will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Hopefully we can come back often!

Amazing stay that surpassed our expectations. You will be hosted by a charming and wonderful family who knows hospitality. Don't be fooled by the family scene, these are experienced and professional inn keepers. Our apartment was spotless clean and had the security of a bank vault. High-end closures on windows and doors and there is an elevator should you need it. Breakfast is served daily by Anna, the most wonderful Italian momma we have ever met. She is full of love, life and is the real deal chef. She will prepare breakfast to order and you will want to take her with you. There is no detail not attended to. Baths, laundry, full kitchen, comfortable sleeper sofa all great for families while traveling. The only minus is the noise. You are on the main street as you arrive in Vico but they have done a superb job insulating windows. Bring earplugs if you need rest. Expertly and tastefully decorated in modern blue hues. We loved Vico Equense. Non-touristy; shop and eat with the locals. It's a wonderful and beautiful coastal town with its own busy and unique vibe.

We had a wonderful stay in the Asia Apartment at the *Cubo Apartment* in Vico Equense. The structure is cared for in every detail, clean, bright and equipped with every comfort. The view is lovely, and the perfect location to explore the Coast, Capri, Pompeii and Sorrento. Special thanks to *Mrs. Anna and her family*, for the warm Welcoming and sincere availability: we really felt at home. All our requests were met with kindness and attention. A place we recommend from the heart and where we hope to return soon. Thanks for everything! Mencarelli Daniela

Cubo Apartments is located in a palazzo in the center of Vico Equense, the town considered the gateway to the Sorrentine Peninsula, less than a 5-minute walk from the train station. From the apartment terraces, the view sweeps from Castello Giusso to the Scoglio dei Tre Fratelli, and across the Bay of Naples to the profile of Mount Vesuvius. Quietly elegant, Vico Equense is an excellent base for visiting Sorrento, Massa Lubrense, Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as Positano, Amalfi and Ravello along the Amalfi Coast.
