Comfort Hotel Gardenia

Wir haben im Hotelrestaurant zu Abend gegessen. Es war sensationell. Wir sind nun über 1 Monat unterwegs in Italien, hier haben wir am Besten gegessen. Es war alles absolut frisch und von sehr guter Qualität, können wir zu 100% empfehlen. Es hat an diesem Abend geregnet, aber Tiziana hat uns mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und ihren Kochkünsten die Sonne gebracht. Vielen Dank. Der Negroni war übrigens auch super!

This is a beautiful modern hotel in a great location but best of all is the staff!. They go above and beyond. We had two free bottles of water in our min fridge and chocolates to welcome us. It was a great first impression and the staff continued to make us feel welcome and did whatever they could to help make our vacation special.

We have stayed at The Gardenia hotel on many occasions. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We have got to know the lovely and welcoming staff. The breakfast buffet has an excellent choice and the homemade pastries are excellent too. A big shout to Tiziana who not only serves the drinks with a big smile, she made us a lovely meal on our first night. Although the hotel doesn't advertise the evening meals, it's very reasonable and home cooked with love. We have made friends for life at this hotel and can't wait to go back. We stayed at Hotel Gardenia for four nights while exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast — it was also our first trip to Italy. The hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs! The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk from the main square, so close enough to everything but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely modern bathroom with a great hot shower. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! All of the staff we met were exceptional — so warm, friendly, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everyone went out of their way to help us. The food was another highlight. Everything is home-cooked and authentically Italian, with a nice touch of antipasti available for guests in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, with plenty of variety. The staff were quick to replenish items and took coffee orders right at the table with no delay. On mornings when we had early excursions, they were happy to help us pack a take-away breakfast. Sorrento in general had so many authentic restaurants and despite lots of tourists has kept its Italian charm. We also booked a few tours directly through the hotel, which were conveniently priced the same as local operators but included pick-up right outside the door. We highly recommend the boat tour to Amalfi and Positano! From the hotel, we easily explored Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, and the Path of the Gods as well. Highly recommend a pasta cooking lesson and food tour as well! Hotel Gardenia is truly a gem — perfectly located for discovering Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, definitely feel we chose the right location after visiting some of the other towns that were heaving with tourists and quite small. But what really makes it special is the wonderful staff (and those amazingly comfortable beds!). We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
