Hotel Rivoli is located in a lovely 14th-century palazzo, once a Benedictine convent, in the historic center of Sorrento, Italy. Recently restored and overlooking the Bay of Naples, the hotel combines the best in modern, elegant hospitality with traditional coastal architecture, all just steps from the most charming artisanal workshops and boutiques in the city.

The hotel was inaugurated in 2008 and is located in an ideal spot for visiting all of Sorrento in addition to the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Paestum, the island of Capri, and the most famous destinations along the Amalfi Coast.

Hotel Rivolì is an elegant three-star accommodation with just 8 bright and airy rooms furnished with contemporary decor and modern amenities. Accommodations include the Suite Room with two bedrooms (45 sqm), with a kitchenette and dining table for families, and the Attic Suite Room (40 sqm), set on the top floor with views over the rooftops of the historic center.

A Well-Managed Small Hotel with a Central Yet Quiet Location and Comfortable Rooms

Hotel Rivoli is a small hotel with several large advantages. First, while it enjoys a very central location in Sorrento -- a short walk to Piazza Tasso -- it is located on a very quiet and atmospheric side street. Second, the staff is welcoming and top notch in all respects. Manager Fabio is detail-oriented and a real gentleman; assistant Simona is welcoming, effective and speaks good English; and the rest of the staff is very guest- friendly. For 3 consecutive years we have booked the attic suite, with a bedroom, living room, sizeable terrace and easy access to the hotel's roof terrace with its fine views in all directions. This is not a budget hotel -- to my knowledge nothing anywhere near the center of town is -- but considering its many advantages, Hotel Rivoli is a fair deal and for us, a welcoming and comfortable home-away-from-home in Sorrento.

We stayed in this structure converted from a former convent for a stop in Sorrento, what about great location with friendly staff and comfortable room overlooking the historic center. Excellent value for money definitely will return as soon as possible

Overnight in 4, we took two rooms. Very small and cozy hotel in the center of Sorrento. Nice rooms, quite spacious. The breakfast was excellent and very rich and plentiful, unfortunately the room where a rich buffet is served is a bit small. Recommended structure for visits to Sorrento. Courtesy and hospitality’.

Hotel Rivolì is located in the historic center of Sorrento in a recently restored palazzo from the 1300's, and just 600 meters from Sorrento's Circumvesuviana train station. The hotel is ideal for visiting the hometown of Torquato Tasso and experiencing the traditonal artisan workshops and boutiques featuring local products, and is perfectly located for visiting the Amalfi Coast and taking day trips to Capri and Ischia. as the port where ferries depart is just a 5 minute walk away. The archaeological sites of Pompeii and Paestum are also an easy day trip, and local sites including the Church of San Francesco, Piazza Tasso, the Cathedral of SS. Filippo and Giacomo, the Museum Correale di Terranova, and the port of Sorrento are all within walking distance.
