All the colors of the Mediterranean right on the coast

  1. A one-of-a-kind beach house
  2. Huge picture windows and views from every room
  3. A staircase directly down to the water's edge

Red, indigo, blue, green: La Minervetta is a lighthearted mix of bright tones, making this boutique hotel just minutes from the center of Sorrento an unmistakable splash of color right above the sea near Marina Grande and its fishing village. Echoed by the shades of the sea and sky, La Minervetta's colors change according to the quality of light during the day, ranging from the deep blue of the Mediterranean to the fiery reds of the sunset. Together with the unique color scheme, the hotel also holds a collection of memorabilia from over 50 years of hosting travellers to Sorrento, making it one of the most characteristic accommodations along the coast.

Your Beach House

The resort atmosphere and sea air permeates all of La Minervetta. The rooms all have a view over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius through the breathtaking picture windows, which are flooded with light and crisp sea breezes from the first light of day. The warm color scheme of blues and reds make the guest rooms particularly warm and friendly, and the quirky furnishings and decorative touches reflect the offbeat tastes of your hosts.

Each morning, you'll be awakened by the smell of coffee and fresh baked goods which wafts through the entire hotel from the kitchen, which is the heart of La Minervetta. Savor your breakfast while drinking in the stunning views for the perfect start to every day.

From Your Room to the Beach

Settle in and relax on the large terrace of La Minerva, with its VIP view of the Bay of Naples stretched out before you, including Mount Vesuvius on the horizon. From just below, you'll hear the bustle of the fishing village of Marina Grande, which you can reach by climbing down the staircase to the water's edge, passing the lush garden and pool carved directly into the cliff face.

This hotel has two Michelin keys for a reason, they are well earned! Not glamorous as some of the amalfi or capri hotels. Elegant and quietly luxurious. Stylish rooms with gorgeous views across the bay of Naples. Impeccable service. Floriana exudes warmth and hospitality Truly a special place. Can’t wait to return.

Breathtaking, perfect, luxury, relaxing, gorgeous....I can't even find all the words. From the moment, my friends and I walked in, we were just awestruck by the beauty of the hotel, the friendliness and down-to-earth warm of every single person who worked there, and the overall experience. The balcony and our room overlooked Vesuvius...to wake up in the morning or sit with an afternoon cocktail or to retire at night to this spectacular view is very moving and memorable. The breakfast is next level incredible. Every afternoon, they put out a spread with afternoon cocktails, wine, etc. that is incredible. Truly, when we saw it, we could not believe it was included in our stay. Truly, we could not have enjoyed our stay more and it was really, really hard to leave. Pure magic every minute. A++++++++

Fantastic stay at this unique boutique hotel

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Maison La Minervetta. We had a corner room with beautiful views over the Bay of Naples. There is something really special about this hotel - - unique, but classy decor, small boutique feel (only 12 rooms), truly friendly staff, great location with private steps down to Grand Marina and an excellent breakfast. Some may not like the ~20 min walk to the main square in Sorrento, but we enjoyed being a little removed from the hubbub. We will definitely be returning!

This hotel is amazing! Wonderful staff and gorgeous comfortable rooms. I’m gluten-free and every breakfast completely accommodated me. The croissants were so good. Short walk to town. We were there for 3 days and it was perfect.
