Choose how to experience Sorrento

  1. Choose between rooms, suite and studio apartment

  2. Luxury Suite with private Jacuzzi bath

  3. In the heart of Sorrento's historic centre, in a 16th-century palazzo

Magi House means design rooms, elegant suites and a fully equipped studio apartment in the heart of Sorrento, within a 16th-century palazzo that preserves all its historic character. Original architectural elements have been carefully restored over years of renovation: highlights include the original Catalan-style staircase and the private garden with Jacuzzi, one of only ten in Sorrento's historic centre.

On the top floor, a roof garden serves as the breakfast terrace during the warmer months and a solarium through the rest of the day, transforming into a relaxed gathering spot for a chat and a drink under the stars in the evening.

The rooms

The Superior rooms, Caligola and Nerone, suit couples and families with young children alike: spacious and soundproofed for restful nights, with every comfort. Furnishings are crafted from fine materials, custom-made by local artisans, combining contemporary elegance with stone and marble details and historic architectural features.

The suite

The Luxury Suite Caracalla is the ideal combination of space and luxury: toiletry set, tea and coffee selection, Smart TV with satellite channels, Dolby Surround stereo and WiFi. King-size bed with the option of an extra bed.

The Luxury Suite Caracalla is Magi House's most romantic offering, perfect for a couple, it features a private Jacuzzi bathtub.

The studio apartment

The Monolocale Armida with Garden View is the ideal solution for a fully independent stay, with a fully equipped kitchenette, generous space and a bathroom with bath or shower. When the mood for a little extra indulgence strikes, in-room breakfast service can be arranged with staff.

Restaurant and Cooking School

Magi House guests can enjoy the affiliated Ristorante La Cazzarola, serving Sorrentine and Mediterranean cuisine. For those wanting to take local flavours home with them, the Cooking School runs courses in Campanian specialities.

JUST PERFECT

WOW what a beautiful place we chose for our honeymoon accommodation! The facilities were great and we absolutely loved the large spa bath in our room. The location is spot on—just a 5-10 minute walk to the port, which we walked to every day. It's truly in the heart of Sorrento, which we adored.I can’t thank Annabella, Laura, and Rossana enough. Unfortunately, due to our own fault, we missed our flight to Naples, meaning our scheduled 1:00 PM check-in became 11:00 PM. At 6:00 AM UK time, I sent a panicked message to Magi House explaining we had missed our flight, had no transport to Sorrento, and would arrive well after hours. Without any hesitation, the team booked our private transfer. Upon arrival, Annabella even came in during her personal time to check us in. We were extremely grateful, as our stress levels had been sky-high.Throughout our stay, they were super helpful, always checking in to ensure we were okay and asking if we needed anything. The breakfast was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating it on the beautiful terrace. We will 10,000% be returning to Sorrento and will absolutely be using Magi House for our accommodation again. Thank you all so much

Great Spot to Explore Sorrento

Excellent hotel in the heart of Sorrento!. Staff were outstanding and handled booking some of our tours and transportation, all of which were excellent. Their recommendations for dining and other activities were also perfect. The location couldn't have been better. Note that there is no vehicle access directly to the hotel so a very short walk is necessary. Also, there are no elevators so if you are staying on an upper floor, take that into consideration. The staff handles getting the luggage to and from the room. We were on the 4th floor and some evenings that climb to the penthouse suite was dreaded after a long day walking around 😗 We knew that going in so not the hotel's fault!

We have stayed at the Magi House twice, and have had a wonderful time twice. The rooms are very nice, they are kind and lovely people, and the daily breakfast provided is amazing! Don’t miss Maina in the breakfast area- her customer service is so great!! We will return to this place.

Magi House Relais is a fantastic hotel nested in a typical Sorrento lane full of life. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, as well as the rooms being kept clean. Recommend staying here folks.

Map

Magi House Antica Dimora is at Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani 56, in one of Sorrento's most celebrated narrow lanes, in an excellent position for reaching the city's main sights on foot, from the beaches connected to the centre by the public elevator, to the finest palazzi and churches, through craft shops and local restaurants. The Circumvesuviana station is just over 200 metres away, and the SITA bus stop for the Amalfi Coast is steps from the entrance. The port, with hydrofoils and ferries to Capri, Ischia and Naples, is about 10 minutes on foot.
