Still the best in all of Sorrento

We had an incredible stay once again at the Maison Tofani. This time I brought my parents and my sister. As usual, we were greeted kindly and felt welcomed like we were visiting family. Our beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the staff is just amazing. We would love to thank Maria, Tony, Antonino, Marilisa, Rita, Roberto, Ciro, and everyone else for making us feel so welcomed. This is our go to place in Sorrento and will always be. Thank you for making my father John (Giovanni), mother Cecelia, sister Melissa, and my wife June feel so happy being there. I had to take my family to the best in Sorrento and spoil them with the best there is. Maria is the best and of course so are the rest of the staff. Any questions I had, Antonino, RIta, and Marilisa had the answer. Of course Tony is the best at their restaurant La Lanterna. We went there every night! We cannot wait to return next year to see our amazing friends who always go above and beyond to make our stay perfecto.

WORST HOTEL IN SORRENTO, NOT VERY CLEAN

We stayed at the hotel; apart from the central location, the rest was terrible: rooms were not very clean, an attic, passed off as a loft, the shower was dirty and rusty. Breakfast service was terrible: old fruit, little choice, and low quality; furthermore, the elderly lady who served breakfast was very unpleasant and not suitable for dealing with customers. I will never return and I do not recommend it to anyone.

We were relocated to this hotel because in March usually hotels and shops on the Amalfi coast are in reform. Some considerations that are important to the traveler: To access elevator needed to climb stairs The hotel is not exclusive, it has other accommodations in the same building, which meant that it looked like a "pombal". Moto is not allowed to stay in space, so, if it is a city that receives guests who wish to explore the Amalfi Coast and the great desire is the use of the Vespa, we had a disadvantage where, we rented the Vespa and when we arrived at the Hotel could not leave there, otherwise the shareholder the Police. Detail: the place has space to leave bikes yes. Regarding the cleaning, left to desire, I used a glass of water and got a mark of lipstick, so no day no one changed the glass when they passed in the room, I stayed several days using the same glass Breakfast I liked, sir that made the reception very attentive for now, I did not find the best experience, I guarantee that the daily charge value is not worth this charge.

We are just home from a 6 night stay at this most wonderful hotel. The staff, the place the breakfast were all amazing. It’s located in the centre which suited us. A little noise from the street but it didn’t bother us. We were that tired when we got in we were straight to sleep. We had the hotels pets outside our door which made us smile every-time we came back from a day out. The hotel is quaint and the staff are lovely and very welcoming. We are planning our now visit back for September!!!
