Sorrento Hotel Plaza

We have stayed here several times and this is the first time since its beautiful renovation. We had a Classic Room which was perfectly designed in every way including walk in power shower to the silent air con, the lighting and comfortable bed. The bedroom was cleaned every day to a very high standard. It was very hot while we were there so we spent the afternoons having lunch while sitting in the roof top bar with the stunning views of Vesuvius in the distance. We were looked after by the wonderful Samantha and Rosy who made our holiday very special. They were extremely efficient, warm and caring and we won’t forget you. Thank you so much. Also Giuseppe at breakfast who has worked at the hotel for many years, thank you for looking after us.

I have just returned from a week long stay at Hotel Plaza with my parents and my teenage son. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The decor in the rooms is lovely, shower is fab and beds are really comfy! The cleaning of the rooms is like none we’ve ever experienced before! Rooms cleaned during the day and then in the evening they offer a turn down service and do another little clean (towels, bins etc)! Absolutely loved the roof top pool with the most beautiful views. Quietest time of day to get a bed seems to be between lunch time and mid afternoon but to be honest, even if we couldn’t get a bed, it didn’t matter as the pool is so shallow and we were happy just to relax in there with a drink, overlooking the magnificent views. Breakfast was excellent and had enough variety for everyone. We also enjoyed many evenings in the sky bar which has a DJ at the weekends and plays great chilled music during the week. The staff at the Plaza Hotel go above and beyond and treat you like family. We were always given the warmest welcome. I only wish I had learnt their names so I could give them a proper shout out! The location of the hotel is excellent. Everything you need is literally on your doorstep! I would stay at Plaza Hotel again in a heartbeat 🥰

The hotel was recently renovated. Rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff (front desk, pool deck and cafe) were amazing!! Special shout out to Carmella and Rosie in Cafe! We so appreciate your kind hearts!💕

From the 10th of August till the 14th of August I stayed in Sorrento at the Hotel Plaza. The layout of the rooms I thought it was a lovely colour because it made you feel like you were on holiday. Also the room was a decent size. From Hotel Plaza the location to the restaurants, shops and the beach is very easy to walk to. On Tuesday the 11th of August we had a day down on one of the beaches and stayed there all morning which was a lovely day. When we were finished at the beach it was not a long walk back up to the hotel you could either get the lift up or walk up the hill or the stairs. I thought the beds were really comfortable to sleep on during the night, I like that we had a balcony and that we could join to the WiFi if we wanted free internet. My best part about the hotel which was really relaxing was the sky bar having a pool up the top to cool down in especially in the heat we had over in Sorrento and then being able to sunbathe on the sun beds and having a drink at the same time. I thought the price of the food, drinks and items in shops were reasonable because every year people get a pay rise. The atmosphere was very friendly, calm and peaceful. During the morning at breakfast time the staff greeted us with a smile on their faces and they asked us every morning what drink we wanted. I just wanted to save a massive thank you to Samantha because on my last day of breakfast which was Thursday the 13th of August I asked for fresh orange and she said in a happy voice you are having something today. I also like the way how Samantha got me to sign for the fresh orange because I added it on to my room number it made me remember to pay for the fresh orange. I would like to give all of the maids that cleaned 109 while I was staying in there a ten out of ten for making up the room they done a very good job and I was happy with it every-time I came back from my day out. While I was staying at the Hotel Plaza people respected the signs that say do not disturb. I did not hear any noise at all in the corridors. Even upstairs at the sky bar it was peaceful and relaxing the sunbathe. The service was excellent for example when we first arrived I locked our safe and couldn’t get into it. I gave reception a call from my phone in the room and they said that someone will come up soon to have a look at it. Someone came up within ten minutes which helped me a lot because we were then able to get back into it and put the rest of our belongings away. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the breakfast staff that were working on Wednesday the 12th of August, you all made my 31st birthday very special by making me a birthday cake. I really enjoyed my birthday cake. I would also like to say a massive thank you to Samantha for always being friendly especially because I do not like tea or coffee she asked me every morning if I wanted a drink which was really nice of her. Also on Thursday the 13th of August Samantha was upstairs in the sky bar in the afternoon when I went up to the sky bar in the afternoon Samantha came out and said hello madam would you like a drink which I think was really nice and thoughtful of her.
