Mount Vesuvius E-Bike Tour

Very good ride. Tons of fun. Highly recommend

The name of the tour is a bit deceiving, but the end product is very satisfying. It’s basically an e-bike ride with an olive oil, cheese, honey and limoncello tasting with a glass of wine (all locally produced) at the farm of il Turuziello in Schiazziano. The owner is quite the charismatic promoter and you will find it difficult to resist taking home some of the delicious products. I learned more about cheese making in 20 minutes than I ever thought possible. You might even choose to make your own ricotta and mozzarella at home after seeing it. A spectacular ride through the beautiful rural Sorrentian peninsula as well.

There were just the two of us and our guide Macarena, who was very knowledgeable and engaging. The e-bike tour was a fantastic way to see some of the countryside beyond Sorrento and fantastic views of the bay of Naples, Vesuvius and Capri - on quiet roads easily accessible by e-bike. The limoncello tasting wasn’t too long with the opportunity to taste, and buy delicious limoncello and other lemon products. Thanks Macarena!
