Where does pickup take place in Naples?
Pickup takes place at your chosen location: Naples airport, train station, hotel, or any other city address. The Mercedes driver will take you to Mergellina port, where your private motorboat will be waiting.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The service depends on sea and weather conditions, as navigation takes place in open water between Naples and Capri. In case of rough seas or adverse conditions, an alternative departure or a full refund may be offered. Staff constantly monitors forecasts and will contact you in advance to reschedule if needed. Cancellations due to weather carry no penalties.
How does luggage transport work in Capri?
The service includes one bag per person (max dimensions 100x80x30 cm and 32 kg). Luggage is transported by the driver to the motorboat, then from the motorboat to the cabriolet taxi taking you to Capri center. If your hotel is in a pedestrian zone, you'll need to arrange luggage transport from the center to your hotel through the hotel concierge (paid directly on-site). Extra or oversized luggage costs €20 each and must be communicated in advance.
Can I choose the departure time?
Yes, you can choose departure times between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM with slots every half hour. The service operates 24 hours, so nighttime or special-hours departures are also possible upon request. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee availability at your preferred time, especially during high season (June-September). Different rates may apply for nighttime departures.
What's the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before the booked date, receiving a full refund. Cancellations with less than 3 days' notice result in loss of the entire amount. Weather-related cancellations carry no penalties.
Does the service also work from Capri to Naples?
Yes, the service is available for the reverse route from Capri to Naples with the same features. Pickup takes place at your hotel or agreed location in Capri, followed by a cabriolet taxi to Marina Grande, private motorboat navigation to Mergellina, and a Mercedes car to your final Naples destination (airport, station, or hotel). Prices and duration are identical to the Naples-Capri route.
Does payment need to be made in advance?
No, payment is made directly on-site on the day of service; no advance payment is required. At booking, you're only asked for a credit card as a guarantee, and a pre-authorization may be processed. The full balance is paid to the Capri Relax Boats staff, with the option to pay by cash or card. Remember that free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before the booked date.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48-72 hours in advance to guarantee availability, especially during high season. During June, July, August, and September, it's preferable to book a week or more ahead due to high demand.
