Farm Experience: Tour, Dinner, and Wine Tasting

Amazing place! Incredible food, fantastic hospitality, warm and welcoming! This family owned business really treats you like one of their own. The brothers that run the villa were always helpful, especially with transportation and excursions. This is a Very very great place to stay and is highly recommend!!

This past weekend we celebrated our daughter’s wedding in Piano di Sorrento, Italy, which included our group of 45 people enjoying the hospitality, friendship and food of the Persico family that run Antico Casale Colli San Pietro. Everything was fabulous as is always the case when we join Nonna Luisa and her three sons and family at their beautiful Agriturismo. We were blessed to stay on the property, taking up all of their guest rooms, enjoying the creation of chef Annamaria, over looking the Gulf of Naples. The night of the wedding we were treated to the most delicious food and wine, cared for by an incredible staff which include most of the Persico family. We are so very grateful for an experience we will never forget. We look forward to our next visit!

This was our first 'Agriturismo' experience and one we will always remember. From the time we arrived, we were felt to be very welcome by Salvatore and his family/staff (his brother and mother host as well). The location, slightly up in the hills, but still only a ten minute drive from Sorento, is nicely tucked away. The property is like a large house with several rooms and a beautiful, outdoor, sheltered restaurant downstairs. There are some grounds where you can go and look at the animals reared and the vegetables grown. Also a few children's outdoor toys and some space to kick a football. The food is fresh and taken from what they produce for a really authentic experience. Breakfast (included) is on the terrace upstairs - where you can see a beautiful sunset in the evenings too - with views over towards the sea. The atmosphere is relaxed and like being in the countryside. The room was perfectly good, clean and comfortable. There is a pool two minutes walk away that Antico Casale have an arrangement with - so, for a reasonable cost, you can while away an afternoon there with sun-loungers while the kids play. There is a small restaurant for snacks there as well. Overall, it felt like we were staying at a guesthouse with family. We were very well looked after and it was so relaxed and peaceful - with some days staying at the property and others exploring the other towns on the coast by rental car (recommended). Plus the children enjoyed it as much as we did and we were all sorry to leave after a lovely five day stay. We would love to come back again.
