An ancient and renowned dairy on the Sorrento Peninsula, in business since the early 1900s and now managed by the fifth generation of expert cheesemakers, invites you to cross its threshold to discover all the secrets of the ancient local art of milk processing.

The Caseificio Starace dairy in Vico Equense welcomes visitors for a unique experience actively participating in the production of butter, mozzarella, and other delicious cheeses typical of this area, using the fine milk collected daily by local farmers.

Each visit includes an engaging demonstration by the master cheesemaker, a tour of the factory and, above all, tasting the delicious dairy products prepared during the experience.

Just a lovely morning in the hills up from Vico Equense. Antonio & Angela are a lovely couple and magnificent hosts. Treat yourself! Relax. Live in the moment. Learn (hands on) how to make mozzarella. The grounds and gardens are wonderful. Visit the shop after you have an incredible meal.

Top ervaring. Super lieve mensen. Je mag zelf aan de slag en daarna mag je aanschuiven aan tafel om alles te proeven. Alles is artisanaal. Een aanrader.

Abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza unica e indimenticabile. Antonio, il Maestro Casaro ci ha fatto mettere le mani in pasta, oltre a vedere la trasformazione del caglio in prodotti d’eccellenza abbiamo realizzato con le nostre mani bocconcini, mozzatura e trecce. Le mani esperte e la passione per l’artigianalità e la tradizione di Antonio e la sua famiglia sono gli ingredienti principali del loro ottimo prodotto d’eccellenza. Ottima la degustazione in giardino, sotto un pergolato , preparata da Angela con i loro prodotti… Esperienza consigliatissima per grandi e piccini .
