Terrible Terrible Terrible

Terrible experience from start to finish! On arrival we were met by a night manager who did not know what to do and when we got to our room it was so hot it was unbearable to sleep in. We all sweated through the night, as the room could not get below about 30 degrees. The next morning no one bothered to show us anything about the hotel. We obviously slipped through one of the many cracks in the management of this hotel. We mentioned the lack of air conditioning and were told that it was fine and not to worry. Our second night was again so hot and impossible to sleep. We checked out and instead of making a scene at reception I left it to our travel agent to reach out to the hotel. They are now using this as a way of saying we loved our time their and we should have complained at the front desk. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.

Super uncomfortable beds, dated rooms

The location of this hotel overlooking Vesuvius at sunset is just stunning, the food in the fine dining restaurant is excellent and the service all around was warm and friendly. However despite this, I would not return and would advise against staying here. The room is just nowhere near five star standards. Old worn out mismatched furniture, super complicated electronics and lights requiring a key and several buttons, no plugs for charging, a basic bathroom with a shower that soaks the floor, and literally the worst mattress on earth, I could have slept on the tile floor and been more comfortable! It was so worn out, all springs and destroyed my back. I found the breakfast spread uninspiring as well, especially having no fresh fruits, and there is no gym. Pool is also quite small and fills up quickly, and there is only a very small menu for lunch. The view may be great and the people who work here may be very nice, but at the end of the day, a hotel is a place you pay to sleep, and when you can’t sleep and wake up feeling worse than you did before you got there, it is a failure, and certainly not a luxury experience. I see great potential here, but it’s clear why Hilton is kicking them out of their program.

Super Hotel in a quiet place near Sorrento WITHOUT children!!!

Many huge thanks to Adriana (Reception), Giovannis ;)) (breakfast & dinner), Luciano!! You all made my vacation unforgettable!! This Hotel is just 7 km away from Sorrento in a lovely quiet place Seiano. Room 303 is perfect with an amazing view on Vesuvius, Bay of Naples and Capri. All advantages you can see on the hotel web-site ;)) I want to note DISadvantages: 1. No Gym 2. No private beach 3. You can reach the beach and some local restaurants in 10 Minutes on foot by the path directly from the hotel (only in sport-shoes!! Forget about sandals!!) and only by the daylight (after the sunset there is completely dark and no lighting). If you travel without a car, you are literally cut from the world outside. 4. Beds by the pool are all occupied before 10.00 AM 5. If you would like to order a Lobster in the restaurant (costs €60 and is very-very delicious indeed) be ready to serve yourself!!! You lose your precious time & stink afterwards on fish. 6. No shower - only jacuzzi without a glass or shower curtain in the room. If you want to avoid overflooting & you don’t have problems with overweight and knees (my lifehak!!) sit down in the jacuzzi and image that you are in Ancient Rome (or Greece or somewhere else where there is no shower 😂😂) and wash your body&hair with a bath-tub in the bath!! The floor will remain dry and you are clean!! 😉😂 Despite of all above this is a WONDERFUL hotel which I can only highly recommend!!!
