Address
Via Santa Maria Vecchia, 2 - Seiano di Vico Equense

A panorama over the entire Gulf of Naples, a Michelin-starred restaurant and the elegance of an ancient seafront villa just outside Sorrento: these are the qualities that make Grand Hotel Angiolieri in Seiano one of the most celebrated hotels on the Sorrentine Peninsula, but there's more.

A room overlooking the Bay of Naples

A room with a terrace facing the sea is the dream of every seaside holiday, and from most rooms at Hotel Angiolieri the view is truly enchanting. While everything feels like an elegant Sorrentine home with traditional colourful majolica floors, every detail delivers the comfort and service you'd expect from a 5-star hotel.

The eleven rooms and suites each have their own identity: Classic (garden view), Superior (sea view), Deluxe (terrace over the Gulf), Junior Suite, Unconventional Junior Suite, Suite Zeuxo (luminous sea view), Aromatic Suite (terrace overlooking the lemon grove with private mini-pool), Corner Suite (360° panorama over the Gulf and Vesuvius), Prestige Suite (loggia onto the garden), Faito Suite with Spa (private in-room spa) and the Suite Criseide, across two levels with a Jacuzzi and Vietri ceramic floors.

For a dream holiday, the Suite Criseide, 50 sqm of luxury with a living area, Jacuzzi and spectacular views, is the obvious choice. For those seeking privacy and wellness, the Faito Suite with Spa delivers an in-suite spa experience unlike any other.

Dining with a star

Ristorante L'Accanto is the jewel in the crown of Grand Hotel Angiolieri. Its contemporary Campanian cuisine is a tribute to Mediterranean flavours that has held a Michelin Star since 2010. The menu is a journey through the flavours of the territory: almost entirely km-0 sourcing, daily fresh fish and an outstanding wine list. Lunch or a romantic dinner on the panoramic terrace, every experience is unforgettable.

The dining offer spans five distinct concepts: Breakfast Experience (sea-view breakfast), Saporì Pizza & qualcos'altro (fine dining pizzeria), L'A Bar (panoramic cocktail bar), Lucilla (informal bistrot) and L'Accanto (Michelin-starred fine dining).

Pool, sea and relaxation

The pool at Grand Hotel Angiolieri seems suspended over the Sorrentine Coast, with a poetic detail on its floor: the verses of "Era di maggio". The Angiolieri Wellness Experience programme offers personalised treatments and wellness paths. The hotel shuttle takes guests to the sea for a day at the beach. The Mediterranean garden and lemon grove provide the perfect setting for moments of pure relaxation.

Unique experiences

Grand Hotel Angiolieri curates a rich programme of experiences: private cruises to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, the Sentiero degli Dei trail, trekking on Monte Faito, cooking classes in the kitchen garden, wine experiences across the Peninsula's wineries, and tours to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Unforgettable moments

The garden, the rooms, the terraces, the views and above all the outstanding cuisine make Grand Hotel Angiolieri the perfect setting for a wedding on the Sorrentine Peninsula. The Sala Ricevimenti, Sala Lettura and Colonnato Romano can host parties, banquets, concerts and business meetings.

Terrible

Very disappointing experience with this hotel. During our stay, the hotel staff drove our rental car into a wall. What makes this even worse is that the incident was completely hidden from us. We only discovered what had happened after encountering issues with the rental company and had to investigate this ourselves. The lack of transparency and responsibility is unacceptable. Absolutely not professional or reliable service. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

Great except the ending

We stayed whilst this was still part of the Hilton scheme. We checked in and were shown to our room which had a lovely side view with a balcony. The rooms weren’t modern but it was comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing. The view on the terrace whilst eating breakfast was stunning and the quality of the food was high with some bubbles to add elegance. The pool area was good but limited so you had to get down there at a decent time to get a space, but there were loungers on the roof if you missed out and there was a jacuzzi on the roof as well. Overall I had a really great time until it came to the last night. I have an allergy to shellfish and sadly on our last night out at a restaurant in Sorrento (not the hotel) they cross contaminated the food. Whilst it’s not an anaphylactic reaction I am violently sick until my stomach is empty and even then I’m left nauseous for many hours after. I was up and down most of the last night and at got to check out and I was still wrenching and struggling to stand up. My husband called down to the check-in desk to explain but they didn’t care and we had to leave the room with nothing else offered so I laid on the couch by the bar and was up and down. It was miserable and I thought the service was so poor to do that to someone. This is why I couldn’t give it 5* as the ending and lack of care really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Years go by but this hotel remains one of the best accommodation addresses on the Sorrento coast. Overlooking the sea, very nice outdoor pool, various food and wine proposals on which stands out one of the best fine dining restaurants on the coast.

We had an absolutely fantastic vacation on this hotel one week this summer. This hotel have almost everything. Great food, service and atmosphere! Amazing. The service was always fantastic -everyone, the bar staff, cleaning staff, restaurant staff and the reception staff was amazing. They cleaned to times every day, I love that. If we need to say something, after stay at many 5 stars hotel earlier we reacted on that the room was so small and the bed was a little hard. The location was a little more far away from everything than we expected. But on the other hand It’s nice and quiet. But if you want to go to Sorrento it’s a little expensive with taxi, and it’s a little bit far to walk to the local town Seiano -but i recommend to go there! After all we love the stay and will definitely recommend this hotel. Very romantic place, you should definitely go. The view is absolutely amazing!
