Super Hotel in a quiet place near Sorrento WITHOUT children!!!

Many huge thanks to Adriana (Reception), Giovannis ;)) (breakfast & dinner), Luciano!! You all made my vacation unforgettable!! This Hotel is just 7 km away from Sorrento in a lovely quiet place Seiano. Room 303 is perfect with an amazing view on Vesuvius, Bay of Naples and Capri. All advantages you can see on the hotel web-site ;)) I want to note DISadvantages: 1. No Gym 2. No private beach 3. You can reach the beach and some local restaurants in 10 Minutes on foot by the path directly from the hotel (only in sport-shoes!! Forget about sandals!!) and only by the daylight (after the sunset there is completely dark and no lighting). If you travel without a car, you are literally cut from the world outside. 4. Beds by the pool are all occupied before 10.00 AM 5. If you would like to order a Lobster in the restaurant (costs €60 and is very-very delicious indeed) be ready to serve yourself!!! You lose your precious time & stink afterwards on fish. 6. No shower - only jacuzzi without a glass or shower curtain in the room. If you want to avoid overflooting & you don’t have problems with overweight and knees (my lifehak!!) sit down in the jacuzzi and image that you are in Ancient Rome (or Greece or somewhere else where there is no shower 😂😂) and wash your body&hair with a bath-tub in the bath!! The floor will remain dry and you are clean!! 😉😂 Despite of all above this is a WONDERFUL hotel which I can only highly recommend!!!

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, 4 stars would be very generous.

We booked a stay here based on its 5 star rating and excellent reviews. We were totally disappointed. The best thing I can say is the room is nice with beautiful views. After that there are so many negatives starting in the room. As is the custom often in Italy the room key must be used to turn on all the electricity in the room. Then there is a panel with numerous switches to control the lights. I mean please who wants to deal with this. You need your key to operate the elevator, to go through doors on the property. It’s just too much. The bathroom has a tub. If you want to take a shower you must hold a shower head with one hand as you wash yourself including your hair with your other hand. There is no shower door on the tub so be very careful. There is a television in the room that only broadcasts one station in English and no music. There is no sauna or steam on the property. The pool is very small and if you don’t get there by 9:30am there are no lounge chairs available. Breakfast is available every morning and that is nice. There is no lunch. There are 3 restaurants on the property. One only serves pizza. A gourmet restaurant that serves a 13 course Prix fix menu with or without wine that we tried and did not enjoy. The third restaurant has a mixture of items but the menu never changed in the 4 days we were there. You cannot walk to the town but they do provide a shuttle service.

The hotel is beautiful, the photos on their website don’t give you a true understanding of the location. The food in the restaurant is amazing ( trust me , I’m Italian 😂) and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back again
