Wonderful hotel and service!

We have stayed at the Maniello hotel group twice before, first visit to this hotel. We cannot fault the ambience, attention to service, cleanliness of the hotel. Great view across Bay to Vesuvius too. Best of all the food was amazing, we did half board and you could swop dinner for lunch. Great menus and choice. Full a la carte. Please give me more than one tiny fillet of sea bass or bream though! The restaurant manager Samuel is a delight. Very experienced and we appreciated his attention and friendliness throughout. Gym is small but as they limit to 4 people at a time, is ok. Very good location, 10 mins to centre. Please try it!

GORGEOUS HOTEL IN SORRENTO! We spent three nights in early September at the Grand Hotel De La Ville in Sorrento, and it was absolutely fantastic! The room was beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The stunning views from our 5th floor balcony overlooking the Mediterranean were exquisite! The complimentary breakfast included an omelet/fresh eggs station, fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses, and a large selection of baked goods -- and seating was out in the lovely garden. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was wonderful -- less than a 10-minute stroll into the heart of downtown Sorrento. The rooftop pool and bar are not to be missed!

Absolutely fantastic hotel in Sorrento. 10/10 will definitely stay again. Possibly my favorite hotel on our entire 2 week trip across Italy. Fantastic location, amazing on-site amenities, friendly staff, what more could you need? Our rooms were ready early, allowing us to check in in the morning and go down to enjoy the garden pool. Great loungers with shade trees on one side. We ate breakfast daily in the charming little garden restaurant area. Fantastic selection of hot and cold items, a made-to-order egg and omelette station, pastries and breads, juices and hot teas and coffees. We made it up to the rooftop bar for sunset and the view cannot be beat. Great cocktails too! If you visit in the summer, don't hesitate to ask at the bar to have your reusable water bottle filled with ice water. They were happy to do that for us in the mornings before we headed out. Rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely balcony. Definitely book one with a sea view!

A five star hotel

This hotel should be rated as a five star. From the minute, I walked into the lobby to being shown into my room first class all the way. The room is spacious and very clean with all the amenities. There is an outdoor dining experience, which is fabulous and gorgeous. I attended dinner Saturday night inside the main dining room with beautiful entertainment. I absolutely recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
