Color your vacation in Sorrento, Italy with red, yellow, and blue...the tones decorating the rooms at Maison Kalea, a Bed and Breakfast right outside the center of Sorrento with a unique and tasteful decor marked by bright ceramics in true Mediterranean style which give this cheerful accommodation a lighthearted, seaside air.

Choose Your Color

Maison Kalea offers three types of guest rooms furnished with designer style...unforgettable and unique touches from the traditional majolica tiles from the coast which cover the headboards of the beds to the festive room decor and decorative objects.
All rooms are soundproofed and come complete with electric kettles, satellite tv, and wifi. The spacious bathrooms have personal care products, and there is the option of adding an infant's cot or crib for children up to 2 years old in the Superiore and Junior Suite.

The large kitchen at Maison Kaela is the centerpoint of the B&B, where a generous buffet breakfast is served on a central table laid out with brightly colored linens and dishware which complement the ceramic decor all around.

Your Only Job: Relax!

The sundeck at Maison Kalea is fitted out with sun loungers, a shower, and a gazebo, so perfect for basking in the sun and relaxing during the day, with a pause to cool off in the shower under the Mediterranean sun. The B&B staff can help organized day trips and boat trips along the coast, and guests also gather to relax on the comfortable red couches around the internal fireplace with a cup of coffee and a good book during the heat of the day.

Overall a poor experience

Honestly. The place is a lil overrated. The owners are rude. There is no stove, microwave or induction facility. Rooms are small. The place looks beautiful but wasn't half as good as the other BnBs we did across Italy

Clean and comfortable small hotel

The hotel is in a very good location, which made it easy to get around. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the breakfast was also quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The main downside was the poor sound insulation in the rooms. We could clearly hear noise, including conversations, from the neighboring room, which was quite disturbing. Another issue that I didn’t appreciate was the way the payment was handled. We were charged the full amount before arrival, and the transaction appeared under a coded name rather than the hotel’s actual name. This made it impossible to recognize the charge, and I initially thought my card had been compromised. As a result, I had to cancel my card, which caused significant inconvenience. Overall, a good stay with some important areas that need improvement.

We loved it so much we extended our stay. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Francesca was so welcoming and helpful. Margarita makes an awesome breakfast. The rooms are so clean. We loved the balcony on sunny afternoon. Close to city center but quiet at the same time. Near a market and mini market. We would return in a heartbeat.

Great base for visiting the Amalfi coast

Stayed here with family last year and had a great experience, all rooms are very spacious and bright. We thought the value for money was great. It’s around 10 minutes walk downhill to the centre of Sorrento, 12 minutes to the Port (but depending on which route you take there are some very steep stairs!). For us the location was ideal, very little noise overnight, close to a small supermarket and great pizza restaurant, also 5 mins from a train station. It was extremely clean with some toiletries included. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were welcoming. In terms of the breakfast, some of the mugs weren’t totally clean, and it’s a shared breakfast table for all hotel guests which some people might love, others might not. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento.
