Great service - enormous helping - especially chips - whatever you do just order for one and that's more than enough for the two of you. A bit chilly evening when we went in May but nonetheless heaters on which helped the ambience. Promised to go again but we were only there for a week at the Grand de Ville opposite.

A little taste of Heaven - a perfect stay in a stunning location!

Delighted that we chose to stay at Relais Correale to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was enormous, spotlessly clean, with a massive comfy bed and charming local decor. The bathroom was stunning with a fabulous huge jacuzzi with colour-changing lights (plenty of room for two, with a flat marble surround for a glass of something nice - so relaxing to come 'home' to after long days of sight-seeing) and a huge open drenching shower. We had our own front door with a private patio and sofa outside. There's a fridge (daily water provided), a safe, and a daily delivery of complimentary fresh fruit and a little pastry/cake. Breakfast is an event to be savoured! It is served in a separate outdoor room in the lemon grove (with windproof sides and patio heaters if required) and is a wonderful way to start the day. I have never seen such a wide ranging selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, olives, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, breads and particularly home made pastries, including their own lemon marmalade and freshly squeezed orange juice. It's all beautifully displayed using local colourful crockery, with changes every day (eg Easter cake and candied peels). Hot food is freshly cooked to order if you wish (no extra charge) - Chamanda makes the most perfect omelettes! The location is stunning - a villa of only 5 or 6 rooms amongst the working lemon grove (rather than a big faceless hotel) - so tranquil (entrance opposite Hotel de la Ville reception). They do lemon grove tours and tastings and cooking classes on site too. It is situated just to the east of the town centre (an easy flat walk) and only 10m to the train station (for Pompei/Napoli/Ercolano). It is close to the harbour too for trips to Capri, Napoli, Amalfi Coast (but the whole of Sorrento is on a cliff top so it's a steep stepped walk down to the port from wherever you stay - there is a harbour lift available for a small fee but it's not open 24/7). There is a beautiful, classy open air restaurant/bar on site, La Limonaia, sitting under the citrus trees (which are laden with fruit all year round) or under the covered round gazebo, open lunchtime and evening - no pressure to eat there, but 10% off if you do. We had a delicious and beautifully presented meal there one evening (we would have had several more if we had come later in the year when the evenings were a bit warmer or if we weren't gadding about sight-seeing at lunchtime!). Staff will move patio heaters around if you want them. The breakfast waiter was very attentive, and the ladies in reception were always friendly and happy to help with any queries about the local area/trips/transport. A perfect stay in Sorrento where the hotel and it's restaurant were a unique and memorable destination in their own right.

Tranquility in the heart of Sorrento!

We stayed at the Relais Correale rooms at the end of September into beginning of October. It is an oasis of tranquility a short distance from the busy heart of Sorrento. There are six rooms in a recently refurbished 18th century building. The bedroom was large, clean and beautifully decorated with tiled floors and original shutters on the windows. The bathroom was huge with double sink, bidet and walk in shower also beautifully tiled. The room was well appointed with t.v., Sky, pod coffee machine, hair dryer, safe and air- conditioning. The rooms are bed and breakfast but the building is in the grounds of a lemon grove and a restaurant onsite. Breakfast was served on a terrace with lots of fresh fruit, cooked vegetables, pastries and cooked food available. The staff were brilliant, friendly, attentive and helpful. They also offer tours and tastings of their lemon products for a fee. The rooms are about a 5 - 10 minute walk from the historic centre of Sorrento but are quiet and peaceful at night. All in all we had a fantastic experience here and would thoroughly recommend staying here!

Charming place 5 minutes from Piazza Tasso in a lemon tree grove

Charming little place away from the hustle and bustle of Piazza Tasso but only a 5-8 minute walk to get there. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great included breakfast under a lemon tree grove. Attached to La Limonaia restaurant which we didn’t have time to eat at but would have been a wonderful meal. We watched the preparation of the homemade pasta for later that day at the restaurant while we ate breakfast
